Street and travel photography: Arbat, Moscow, on the right-hand side - a walk in October

A photo project walk with a Sony RX100 m2 on the Arbat on the right-hand side (looking from the Kremlin) with a camera - in October 2019

First, the Mosselprom building, a landmark.

New Arbat Avenue on a cloudy autumn day looking from the direction of the city center.

A functioning place of worship - the Church of the Saint Simeon Stylites

Many famous people were married here going back centuries.

Some current celebrities were also married here.

A reclining poet - a sculpture of the poet A. S. Pushkin in one of the back yards along Bolshaya Molchanovka ulitsa (street).

Poet Lermontov's museum where he used to live, hailed from the Learmonds of Scotland (when it was still an independent country).

That's Belgium's embassy right there on Bolshaya Molchanovka.

A grand entrance in the building opposite the Belgian embassy.

Another church.

Stolovy pereulok.

Street art in Merzliakov pereulok (lane).

If I were asked to provide a caption, I'd come with two choices:

(i) one small step... for all man kind (and about as real).

(ii) Musk on Venus.

Here is a Polar Explorers Building viewed from the inner yard.

Writer Gogol's former residence, currently a museum too.

The Polar Explorers House from the facade side.

Back to the New Arbat.
