Food Photography: Eating out in Moscow: Azbuka Vkusa: burrito, tuna sandwich and coffee

In more food photography, cafe photography and photography of eating places, here is a report on another quick Moscow eating-out experience, in this case, in a cafe at one of the stores of the Azbuka Vkusa chain where your correspondent / photographer had a quick lunch some time ago.

Per example, in one of the Moscow restaurant guides from 2009, the Azbuka Vkusa cafes are quite conspicuously mentioned and even recommended almost on a par with "Haute cuisine" restaurants (not really).

It is interesting that in 2009 the average bill was up to 200 rubles... and now it's the cheapest coffee that will be 200 rubles, and the average bill goes well over 1000 rubles...

Waiting for my order.

I must say that now, in connection with the closure of McDonald's outlets, this is quite an alternative, they can also make a burger there, although it will be more expensive, of course

There is even table service.

Two-in-one chicken burrito and a coffee, and a tuna sandwich on rye bread

Not exactly "mouth watering" but eatable nonetheless.

And the coffee was not too bad either.

Coffee is very good for you ... much more healthy than, say, tea, but you need to drink a lot of it - more than 5 cups of strong coffee a day to achieve a positive effect.

Hard Rock Cafe Moscow Photography.

Here is a photo reportage from Hard Rock Cafe Moscow done with a Sony RX-100 II and a Canon Ixus 185.

Moscow's Hard Rock Cafe!

Sat on the first floor.

My order was one Java Lava Burger with Onions Fries on the side and three cocktails: Hurricane, Bahama Mama and Pomegranate Mule, also some bottled Evian with an ice cube filled glass.

Hurricane, which I liked best of the three cocktails and it seemed a little stronger but overall I didn't find much difference in taste among the tree cocktails that I ordered whatever that means.

Java Lava Burger

Not too bad, not McDonald's, that's for sure, the meet patty seemed natural but overall it didn't impress me as particularly fresh or as if it had just been made for me.

But I thought it looked good, 3/5.

The cocktail is already Bahama Mama.

You definitely eat this one with knife and fork as it is too big to hold in your hands and let alone to take a bite off, and it would be gross if you tried.

Pomegranate Mule.
