Chevignon For Men Cologne, Opinel No. 8 Knife and French Breakfast

How's this for a still life: a French breakfast in Moscow (at night almost), a bottle of Chevignon For Men Cologne, an Opinel No. 8 knife.

The stupid Google blogger uploader again reversed the order of my pictures, the Google shit pile and Microshit are one as good as the other one, but let's go back to the pictures which I don't have time or stamina to rearrange.

Today's Bottle of Wine

In my wine photography series, ex my other blog - another bottle of wine - snagged this bottle of liquid Nerello Mascalese grapes, a Sicilian red wine, I am positive it'll be good for the price and at least for one lunch.

Not sure though we can provide these food pairings, though plenty of (stool) pigeons around, I think, a lump of mozarella with sliced tomatoes and some chicken breast will have to do.

Food pairings for Nerello Mascalese wines include:

  • Pigeon breasts in red-wine sauce
  • Wild mushroom and eggplant filo parcels
  • Linguini with tomato and clams

Cava in Morning Photography

Nothing like a bottle of Cava in the morning.

Semi Seco, which is the second sweetest grade, is indeed too sweet but after half a bottle it doesn't seem like a problem anymore.

With cheese and Japan-inspired local Onigiri snacks. Also, wonder what Palette de France means.

Still, the black fungus cheese is pretty good, and goes well with cava/champagne.

Arachnoid Photography: Spider in the Rain

Here is something for all Arachnoid lovers out there - just a little spider I captured (on camera) at my country villa at end of September.

Here is the little I know re: spiders off the top of my head

If I make a mistake, readers will correct me.

Spiders are not reptiles, of course, but neither are they are insects, but arachnids

What's interesting is they have multiple eyes, in the photo above you can count 7, and one more probably at the bottom, eight in total.

Unlike almost all others creatures, with spiders food is digested outside the body, not inside.

Digestive juices are injected into the victim without the latter's permission after it is subdued, and the prey is digested by itself, and after the completion of the digestion process, all is there left to do is to suck out the already prepared nutrient slurry.

Simple and convenient and not devoid of originality.

In addition, there are advantages as there are no problems with digestion to face, no abdominal pains, no bloating, indigestion, flatulence, and no diseases of the excretory system, no bile, spleen or liver to look after, etc.
