For still life photography subject, here is some Cognac Cuba Libre cocktail.
Usually and traditionally a Cuba Libre cocktail is rum and cola, but we replace the rum with cognac and what we get is Cognac Cuba Libre!
Recipe:
1/3 cognac
2/3 cola (vanilla flavored better)
Optional:
Ice
Lime or lime juice
Lemon or lemon juice
Autumn Photo Travel with an old Sony RX100 m2 and Seeing Nadia Leger Portrait Mosaics
Another autumn travel trip, aka business trip, to the city of Dubna somewhere not far from Moscow, Russia, just came to pass.
During some free time, some photos were quickly taken, dozens of them in fact, so here they are, starting with these beautiful mosaic portraits of famous people, mainly Russians but not exclusively, by the renowned Russian born French artist Nadia Léger, aka Nadia Khodasevich (Grabowski) Léger, about whom you can read in the linked wikipedia entry.

...the one and only river cruise liner MV Mikhail Tanich passing me by on the Upper Volga at Kimry, Russia.
Actually one of my bucket-list to do things before expire, as yet unchecked, is to go on a long cruise down the Russian rivers - from the Northern seas to the South and back.
